I’ve fallen in love with large photos. Looking at my pages and seeing my loved ones big and in color makes me happy. With this in mind I always keep a lookout in the gallery for layouts with lots of space devoted to photos. Here are a few of my recent favorites.
Cute by dypecek
Wow – I can feel the spirit of this little girl in the page. Love the spunk, all the pink, touch of lace, those floral print boots and the large pensive photo which serves as a sweet counter point to the bouncy fun of playing around in a tutu.
A bicyclette by Gateausoso
The little bicycle element down near the bottom is adorable. Perfect for a page about a special moment on a bike. I can’t read the journaling, but the trio of photos tells me the whole story. Love it!
Enjoy Life by GeVisacri
Placing elements, brushwork, titles and/or other layout components on large photos helps make the layout and the photo(s) work together and creates and nice visual flow. GeVisacri is a master of the technique as her title and brushwork are brilliant embellishments to this fabulous photo.
Vacation Book by adrianka
This is just one page from vacation album adrianka put together. I want to crawl into every page and live there. This album is sure to evoke precious memories of her trip for years to come.
Treasure by jazzmatazz
As much as I love large photos, I feel like my own compositions get stagnant fast. This original arrangement by jazzmatazz is such a fun approach.
